| 2/5/2026 10:55:00 PM | Smith-Njigba was named the 2025 Offensive Player of the Year on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. |
| Smith-Njigba established himself as one of the best receivers in the league in 2025, as he led all pass catchers with 1,793 yards. He was named a First-Team All-Pro in January and now adds to his honors by narrowly beating Christian McCaffrey and Puka Nacua to be named Offensive Player of the Year. Smith-Njigba will very likely be the primary driver of the Seattle passing game in Sunday's Super Bowl LX matchup against the Patriots. | |
| 2/5/2026 7:23:00 PM | Allen didn't complete either of his pass attempts while appearing in three games with the Lions in 2025. He also had three rush attempts for minus-3 yards. |
| Allen won the backup quarterback job in Detroit during training camp and retained the role throughout the regular season. However, he played only 16 offensive snaps because Jared Goff remained healthy. Allen is set to hit free agency this offseason, and he'll likely compete for a backup role once again. | |
| 2/2/2026 5:36:00 PM | Davis-Gaither racked up a career-high 117 tackles in 17 regular-season contests in 2025. He also added one interception among five pass defenses, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. |
| Davis-Gatiher was a mainstay at off-ball linebacker for the Cardinals all season while working first with fellow veteran Mack Wilson (ribs) and then rookie fourth-round pick Cody Simon after Wilson landed on injured reserve following Week 9. In the process, Davis-Gaither logged career bests in just about every statistical category, but with all three players under contract in 2026, and the team hiring offensive-minded Mike LaFleur as head coach Sunday, the upcoming defensive scheme may determine who among them takes on the one or two starting roles. | |
| 1/27/2026 12:41:00 PM | Murray recorded 81 tackles (38 solo) including 1.0 sacks with two passes defended and a fumble recovery over 17 games for the Cowboys in 2025. |
| The veteran linebacker was brought over from Tennessee in a March trade and was expected to be the centerpiece of defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus' system, which has historically led to big numbers for linebackers. Instead, the 27-year-old Murray seemed lost in the scheme and failed to make much of an impact, as he didn't collect double-digit tackles in any game. He'll be a free agent this offseason, and with Dallas having moved on from Eberflus to bring Christian Parker over from Philadelphia as the new DC, Murray will likely have to find another employer. | |
| 1/26/2026 12:22:00 AM | Corum took nine carries for 55 yards while catching all three of his targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 31-27 playoff loss to Seattle. |
| Corum finished Sunday's NFC Championship Game as his club's leading rusher after lead back Kyren Williams (10-39-0) struggled to gain traction on the ground. The 24-year-old Corum stood out at times this year while spelling the starter, finishing his sophomore campaign 746 rushing yards and six touchdowns while appearing in all 17 regular-season games for the Rams. Head coach Sean McVay figures to continue leaning on both of his talented young backs in 2026, with Williams beginning the year as the starter and preferred fantasy option. | |
| 1/25/2026 7:53:00 PM | Diggs recorded five receptions on six targets for 17 yards in Sunday's 10-7 win over the Broncos in the AFC Championship Game. |
| Diggs was the only Patriots' pass catcher to record more than two receptions, though he was outpaced in yardage by Mack Hollins. As his stat line implies, Diggs was used only in short areas of the field, with his longest reception going for just six yards. While he retains a key role in the offense, Kayshon Boutte and Hollins have posted better fantasy performances in New England's last two games. Nevertheless, Diggs will be crucial for the team's chances of winning the Super Bowl in two weeks. | |
| 1/19/2026 2:53:00 PM | Bourne finished the regular season with 37 receptions for 551 yards across 16 games played with the 49ers. |
| The veteran wideout returned to the club that he began his career with as an undrafted free agent back in 2017. Bourne was brought in to help fill the void left by injured starters Brandon Aiyuk and Ricky Pearsall to begin the year. The 29-year-old Bourne was successful in that role, highlighted by back-to-back 142-yard outings in Weeks 5 and 6. Bourne will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but he's unlikely to land in a situation that would make him a viable fantasy target in 2026. | |
| 1/18/2026 11:38:00 PM | Swift rushed 19 times for 76 yards and was not targeted as a receiver in Sunday's 20-17 playoff loss to the Rams. |
| Swift led Chicago in both rushing attempts and yardage Sunday, but his inability to score on multiple attempts from in close in the second half proved costly in the overtime loss. The 26-year-old was curiously absent in the passing game after registering a target in all 17 of his previous appearances (including playoffs) this season. Swift had a career year under first-year head coach Ben Johnson, finishing the regular season with personal bests in rushing yards (1,087) and touchdowns (nine). The veteran starter will enter the final year of a three-year contract with the Bears in 2026, forming a formidable backfield duo with RB Kyle Monangai. | |
| 1/12/2026 2:30:00 PM | Wagner recorded 162 tackles (79 solo), including 4.5 sacks, while adding two interceptions among his four passes defensed in 2025. |
| Wagner delivered another excellent statistical season at age 35, tying the second-best totals of his 14-year career for interceptions and sacks while dressing for all 17 games. He has exceeded 100 tackles in every regular season of his career and sits at an even 2,000. Despite his advanced age, Wagner should draw plenty of interest in free agency this offseason if he chooses to continue playing. | |
| 1/10/2026 9:49:00 AM | Hunter recorded 54 tackles, 15.0 sacks, three passes defensed, three forced fumble and one fumble recovery over 17 regular-season games in 2025. |
| Hunter led the Texans in sacks for a second consecutive season, as the bookend combination of him and Will Anderson (12.0 sacks) once again wreaked havoc on opposing offenses. This was the fourth consecutive season and seventh overall with double-digit sacks for Hunter. The 31-year-old has another year on his current deal and, along with Anderson, will return to scare quarterbacks and offensive linemen in 2026. | |
| 1/9/2026 2:17:00 PM | McNichols rushed 44 times for 221 yards and a touchdown while catching 25 of 31 targets for 196 yards across 17 regular-season games in 2025. |
| With Austin Ekeler (Achilles) sustaining a season-ending injury early into the Commanders' 2025 campaign, McNichols was thrust into the role of the team's primary pass-catching running back. The Boise State product performed well, recording a career-high 417 total yards while averaging 6.0 yards per touch. Set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, McNichols could draw interest from teams seeking a third-down back ahead of the 2026 season. | |
| 1/8/2026 9:03:00 PM | Carter concluded his rookie campaign with 43 tackles, including 4.0 sacks, along with two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries across 17 contests. |
| Carter was selected third overall in last April's NFL Draft, so expectations were naturally quite high for him coming into the season. The Penn State product was credited with a half-sack in his regular-season debut but then went 11 weeks without getting back into the sacks column. Fellow edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux missed the final seven games of the season due to a shoulder injury, and that seemed to open things up for Carter, who tallied 3.5 sacks over New York's final five contests. Part of the reason for the surge may have been interim head coach Mike Kafka taking over and holding Carter more accountable, benching the rookie for parts of games as a consequence for tardiness and absences from team activities. If Carter is able to put those issues behind him and build upon his strong finish, he could be poised for a breakout next season. | |
| 1/7/2026 4:57:00 PM | Johnson recorded 43 tackles (22 solo), including 3.0 sacks, and two passes defensed across 14 appearances in 2025. |
| Johnson wasn't quite the same player in his return from a Sept. 2024 right Achilles' tendon tear. The 2022 first-round draft pick had 7.5 sacks and seven passes defensed in his Pro Bowl 2023 season prior to the injury. Perhaps being another year removed from the injury will help Johnson bounce back in 2026, when he will play on the fifth-year option of his rookie contract, which the Jets exercised this past April. Johnson remains locked in as a starting edge rusher for the Jets. | |
| 1/7/2026 4:46:00 PM | Sherwood recorded 154 tackles (71 solo), including 2.0 sacks, as well as eight passes defensed while playing all 17 games in 2025. |
| Sherwood posted similar numbers to his 158-tackle campaign in 2024, leading the Jets in tackles for the second consecutive season. Having signed a three-year, $45 million contract with the Jets in March, Sherwood's poised to reprise his role as the team's top middle linebacker for his age-26 season in 2026. | |
| 1/6/2026 9:22:00 PM | Folk made 28 of 29 field-goal attempts and all 22 of his extra-point tries over 16 games during the 2025-26 campaign. |
| The Jets finished with the NFL's fourth-lowest-scoring offense, so opportunities weren't exactly ripe for Folk. However, the veteran kicker was outstanding when called upon, missing just one of his 51 total kicks. Folk made a career-best seven FGs from 50-plus yards out, with his only miss of the season being a 55-yard try in Week 13. He's slated to be a free agent, but it wouldn't be surprising if the Jets try to bring back Folk considering his very strong recent success -- he's led NFL kickers in FG accuracy each of the past three campaigns, going a tremendous 78-for-81 during that span. | |
| 1/6/2026 9:07:00 PM | Loop made 1-of-2 FG tries and 3-of-3 extra-point attempts against Pittsburgh in a 26-24 Week 18 loss Sunday. He finished the campaign having gone 30-for-34 on field-goal attempts and 44-for-46 on PAT tries. |
| Loop converted a 40-yard FG in the second quarter Sunday, but he came up wide right on a 44-yard game-winner attempt as time expired. That miss sealed a two-point Ravens loss and marked a stunning end to the team's season. Though Loop's miss will likely linger in the minds of Baltimore fans for some time, it isn't indicative of how the performed this season. The rookie out of Arizona made a steady 88.2 percent of his FG tries, and though he was just 1-for-4 from 50-plus yards out, his final kick of the campaign was his first FG miss on 30 tries from fewer than 50 yards. Loop figures to be back as Baltimore's kicker when the 2026-27 campaign begins in September. | |
| 1/6/2026 12:04:00 AM | Muhammad produced 25 total tackles (15 solo), including 11.0 sacks, over 17 contests during the 2025 regular season. |
| Muhammad stepped into a starting role in 2025, and he rewarded the Lions by producing a career-high 11.0 sacks, which tied for 11th in the NFL. The 30-year-old had recorded just 15.0 sacks total over his previous seven seasons in the league, and he appears to have developed into quite the complement to Aidan Hutchinson on the defensive line. Muhammad is set to become a free agent in the offseason, but the Lions will likely look to keep him in Detroit for 2026. | |
| 1/5/2026 7:14:00 PM | Spears rushed the ball three times for 18 yards in Sunday's 41-7 loss to the Jaguars. He added seven receptions (on seven targets) for nine yards. |
| Tony Pollard dominated rushing attempts for Tennessee, tallying 14 compared to Spears' three. Spears did serve as a favorite checkdown option for fill-in QB Brandon Allen, but that resulted in little production. Injuries and a poor offensive environment derailed Spears' third year as a pro, as his 291 rushing yards across 13 regular-season games were the fewest of his career. He'll presumably enter the final year of his rookie contract in a backup role to Pollard in 2026. | |
| 1/5/2026 9:35:00 AM | McCarthy completed 14 of 23 pass attempts for 182 yards and added seven yards on two carries before exiting Sunday's 16-3 win over the Packers in the third quarter after aggravating a right hand injury. |
| Unfortunately for McCarthy, his 10th career start came to an early end, as he attempted just one pass in the second half before informing head coach Kevin O'Connell that the small hairline fracture in his throwing hand was presenting issues with gripping the football. After having his entire 2024 rookie season wiped out by a meniscus tear in his right knee, McCarthy missed seven total games in 2025 due to a right high-ankle sprain, a concussion and then the fractured hand. When available, he showed strong scrambling ability (181 rushing yards and four TDs), but he still has a long way to go as a passer. On the season, McCarthy completed just 57.6 percent of his throws for 6.7 yards per attempt and an 11:12 TD:INT, and he also took 27 sacks on 270 dropbacks (10 percent sack rate) while fumbling six times, losing two. The 22-year-old will tentatively head into 2026 atop Minnesota's depth chart, but Dianna Russini of The Athletic reported Sunday that the Vikings are expected to explore more established options at quarterback via trade or free agency this offseason, potentially forcing McCarthy to compete for the starting job in training camp. | |
| 1/4/2026 11:51:00 PM | Henry took 20 carries for 126 yards while failing to catch his only target in Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Steelers. |
| Henry was held out of the end zone after scoring an eye-opening six touchdowns over his last two appearances, but he still managed to reach the century mark in rushing yards for the fourth week in a row. The 31-year-old continues to defy logic by maintaining an elite level of play in his 10th year in the league. King Henry amassed a 307-1,595-16 rushing line across 17 starts with Baltimore in 2025. While the Ravens' season ended in heartbreaking fashion Sunday, Henry remains under contract through 2027 and should continue leading the team's downhill rushing attack while producing elite fantasy numbers in standard formats next season. | |
| 1/4/2026 8:35:00 PM | Goff completed 27 of 42 passes for 331 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the Lions' 19-16 win over the Bears on Sunday. |
| Goff effectively led a relatively pass-heavy attack throughout the afternoon, focusing the majority of his attention -- with great efficacy -- on Amon-Ra St. Brown, who ended up on the receiving end of 11 of his completions for 139 yards. Goff also hit Jahmyr Gibbs for his one touchdown pass from 15 yards out with under five minutes remaining in the first half, and he managed to lead the Lions to a winning record in an otherwise disappointing, non-playoff season. Goff put together another highly fantasy-friendly regular season, completing 68.0 percent of his passes for 4,564 yards and a 34:8 TD:INT while adding 19 rush attempts for 45 yards and playing all 17 games for the fourth consecutive campaign. | |
| 1/4/2026 7:18:00 PM | Pollard rushed the ball 14 times for 48 yards in Sunday's 41-7 loss to the Jaguars. He added three receptions on three targets for 17 yards. |
| Pollard was unable to keep his recent level of play going, falling below 95 yards from scrimmage for the first time since Week 13. He still dominated work out of the Titans' backfield, however, and found enough running room to set a new career high of 1,082 rushing yards for the season. Pollard is set to enter the final year of his current contract with the Titans and is likely to remain the team's lead back in 2026. | |
| 1/4/2026 6:44:00 PM | Pierce caught four of seven targets for 132 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 38-30 loss to the Texans. |
| With Riley Leonard getting his first career start at quarterback, Pierce stepped up as the rookie's top downfield option, hauling in a 66-yard score in the first quarter and an eight-yard TD in the second. The fourth-year wideout wasn't able to add to his numbers in the fourth quarter, however, getting ejected late in the third for making contact with an official while complaining about the lack of a pass interference call on a potential third touchdown. Pierce finishes 2025 with career highs in catches (47), yards (1,003) and targets (84) while scoring six TDs, but his fantasy appeal next year will depend a great deal on how the Colts solve their QB dilemma this offseason. | |
| 1/4/2026 5:09:00 PM | Brosmer completed seven of eight passes for 57 yards without a touchdowns or interception in Sunday's 16-3 win over the Packers. He did lose a fumble. |
| J.J. McCarthy (hand) left the game in the third quarter and didn't return, putting Brosmer under center to finish out the season for the Vikings. The undrafted rookie appeared in eight games overall as McCarthy battled injuries, and Brosmer wound up completing 66.2 percent of his passes (47-for-71) for 328 yards, albeit with zero TDs and five turnovers -- four INTs and Sunday's lost fumble. Minnesota still seems committed to McCarthy as its QB of the future, but given his inability to stay healthy, the team may look to bring in a more established backup in the offseason rather than relying on Brosmer to fill that role in 2026. | |
| 1/4/2026 12:04:00 PM | Rypien (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers. |
| Rypien was the emergency third quarterback for the Vikings in their Week 17 win over the Lions, but with the return of starter J.J. McCarthy, the QB no longer has a game-day role. John Wolford will be Sunday's emergency third quarterback. | |
| 1/4/2026 12:01:00 PM | Wolford (coach's decision) is inactive but will serve as the Vikings' emergency third quarterback against the Packers on Sunday. |
| Wolford will only be able to enter Sunday's game if both J.J. McCarthy and Max Brosmer leave the game due to injury, illness or ejection. | |
| 10/27/2025 5:04:00 PM | Wentz is expected to undergo season-ending surgery to address his left shoulder injury, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. |
| Wentz played the majority of snaps in Minnesota's last five games with J.J. McCarthy (ankle) working his way back from a multi-week injury, but the veteran was clearly playing through pain during last Thursday's 37-10 loss to the Chargers. Per Dane Mizutani of the St. Paul Pioneer Press, the Vikings have officially placed Wentz on IR. The transaction confirms that McCarthy will start Sunday's road matchup against the Lions, if healthy, and leaves Max Brosmer in position to handle No. 2 quarterback duties for Minnesota. | |
