Luvu finished Thursday's 27-18 loss to the Packers with two assisted tackles.
Luvu played all 68 defensive snaps Thursday, but that extra time on the field didn't translate to the box score. It's just the fourth time in 19 regular-season games since Week 1 of the 2024 season that he has logged two total tackles or less. Next up for Luvu and the Commanders is a home bout against the Raiders on Sunday, Sept. 21.

Oluokun (illness) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Bengals, Mia O'Brien of 1010 XL 92.5 FM Jacksonville reports.
After logging a DNP on Thursday, Oluokun was upgraded to a full practice Friday and is good to go for Sunday's Week 2 contest. The linebacker played all 64 defensive snaps last Sunday against the Panthers and recorded 10 tackles (five solo) and one interception in the victory.

McManus made two of three field-goal attempts and all three of his PAT tries in Thursday's 27-18 win over the Commanders.
McManus missed a 48-yard attempt off the upright to end the first half but bounced back with a successful 22-yard field goal in the third quarter and an impressive 56-yarder in the fourth, which essentially sealed the win by making it a three-score game. McManus has made 24 of 26 field-goal attempts in 13 regular-season games as a member of the Packers.

Jacobs rushed 23 times for 84 yards and a touchdown and wasn't targeted during the Packers' 27-18 win over the Commanders on Thursday night.
The workhorse back was the only Packers running back to log a carry, and Jacobs worked hard for his yards all night considering he had a game-long run of just 10 yards. Jacobs also went in for his second touchdown in as many games on a two-yard run just before the midway point of the second quarter, rounding out his fantasy performance in solid fashion. After logging 43 touches in the first five days of the new season, the veteran back now will get some extra time to ramp up for a Week 3 road matchup against the Browns on Sunday, Sept. 21.

Greenard registered two tackles and two quarterback hits in Monday's 27-24 victory against the Bears.
Greenard wasn't able to notch any sacks in the season-opener, but he did get two hits on Caleb Williams. Greenard posted 24.5 sacks during the regular season over the past two campaigns, so he's likely to be force in that category again this year.

Reichard made both of his field-goal attempts and his lone extra-point try during the Vikings' 27-24 win over the Bears on Monday.
Reichard's 59-yard field goal at the end of the first half matched a Soldier Field record and brought the Vikings' deficit to four points. The 2024 sixth-rounder had a perfect start through Week 8 of his rookie season before suffering a quad injury in Week 9, which impacted his accuracy down the stretch as he went 10-for-14 on field-goal attempts over the final five weeks of the regular season. Reichard's fantasy impact will largely depend on the effectiveness of the Vikings' offense led by J.J. McCarthy.

Hutchinson failed to record any stats while playing 45 defensive snaps in Sunday's 27-13 loss to the Packers.
Hutchinson made his much-anticipated return to action after missing the last 12 regular-season contests of the 2024 campaign while recovering from a season-ending leg injury. The 25-year-old played 96 percent of the defensive snaps against Green Bay, certainly a positive, but he was unable to make his mark on the contest. Hutchinson will look to be more productive in Week 2 versus Chicago.

Knight recorded 10 tackles (eight solo) and a defensed pass in Sunday's 17-16 victory versus the Browns.
Knight worked as a starter in his first regular-season NFL game after being drafted by Cincinnati in the second round of April's NFL Draft. The South Carolina product shined in his debut, finishing second on the Bengals in tackles behind Jordan Battle, who posted 12 stops. Knight logged 58 of his team's 76 defensive snaps in the victory.

Dennis posted 10 tackles (seven solo), including two for loss, and a defensed pass Sunday in a 23-20 victory over the Falcons.
Dennis was one of three Bucs to reach the double-digit tackle mark in the win. It was a solid statistical beginning for the third-year linebacker, who made his first NFL start Sunday. Dennis did miss a few tackles, however, and head coach Todd Bowles described his performance as "up and down," per PewterReport.

Brooks recorded 14 tackles (five solo), including one tackle for loss, in Sunday's 33-8 loss to the Colts.
Brooks was one of four Miami defenders to play 100 percent of defensive snaps. His 14 total tackles were his highest total since Week 12 of the 2022 campaign, and he's already well on his way to matching his three double-digit tackle performances of 2024.

Marks had three carries for three yards in Sunday's 14-9 loss to the Rams in Week 1.
Marks, a 2025 fourth-round draft pick, entered the regular season as the fourth back on the depth chart, and nothing about Sunday's usage changed that. He's solidly behind Nick Chubb, Dameon Pierce and Dare Ogunbowale and will have to be patient and wait for his opportunities.

Ayomanor recorded two receptions on seven targets for 13 yards in Sunday's 20-12 loss to the Broncos.
Ayomanor's stat line was underwhelming in his regular-season debut, but Cam Ward looked his way often. Ayomanor finished second on the team in targets behind only Calvin Ridley, most notably out-pacing Tyler Lockett. Ayomanor's results are likely to be inconsistent as the Titans' offense comes together, but he looks to be a favorite target of Ward early on.

Nix completed 25 of 40 passes for 176 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Titans. He added eight rushes for 18 yards.
Nix entered 2025 with high expectations after closing the 2024 season with multiple passing touchdowns in seven of his last eight regular-season games. He couldn't carry that momentum into a home matchup against a Titans' defense that is projected to be below-average, as he averaged only 4.4 yards per attempt while throwing a pair of picks on ill-advised throws. Nix did manage a 22-yard touchdown pass to Courtland Sutton just before halftime, but this wasn't the start he hoped for to begin his sophomore campaign.
9/7/2025 9:53:00 PM
Stroud completed 19 of 27 pass attempts for 188 yards, no touchdowns and one interception while taking five carries for 32 yards in Sunday's 14-9 loss to the Rams.
Stroud struggled to finish drives Sunday, leading three lengthy possessions that ended in field-goal attempts. A second-half interception cemented the signal-caller's poor outing and a loss to begin the 2025 campaign. Stroud and his fantasy managers were hoping for a better start after the offense petered out down the stretch last season. Houston will have an extra day to figure things out offensively before hosting the Buccaneers on Monday Night Football in Week 2.

Gordon rushed twice for four yards and brought in his only target for minus-1 yard in the Dolphins' 33-8 loss to the Colts on Sunday.
Gordon came into his first professional regular-season game with the prospect of filling a solid No. 2 role behind De'Von Achane. However, a wild first half that saw the Colts establish a 20-0 lead by intermission essentially nullified the ground attack, with Achane himself logging just seven carries on the day. As a result, Gordon was rendered a non-factor, but he could be in line for more opportunities during a Week 2 home matchup against the Patriots since Jaylen Wright (knee) is expected to remain sidelined for that contest.

Hubbard carried the ball 16 times for 57 yards and caught three of five targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-10 loss to the Jaguars.
The 26-year-old RB scored the Panthers' only TD late in the fourth quarter, catching the ball in the flat and sprinting down the sideline for a 27-yard score. Hubbard is coming off a career-best 2024 campaign in which he amassed 1,366 yards from scrimmage and 11 total touchdowns, and the offseason addition of Rico Dowdle to the backfield doesn't appear to have impacted his role or touch volume. Hubbard will look to stay productive on the road Week 2 against the Cardinals.
9/7/2025 7:05:00 PM
Thomas caught one of seven targets for 11 yards and took his only carry nine yards for a touchdown in Sunday's 26-10 win over the Panthers.
It was a frustrating start to his second NFL season for Thomas, but he salvaged his day with a TD on an end-around in the second quarter. Better days will be ahead for the LSU product as the Jaguars adjust to new coach Liam Coen's scheme, but the 1-11-0 line is already worse than Thomas had in any game as a rookie. He'll look for bigger volume and better production on the road Week 2 against the Bengals.

Egbuka brought in four of six targets for 67 yards and two touchdowns in the Buccaneers' 23-20 win over the Falcons on Sunday. He also rushed once for nine yards.
The rookie first-round pick had been ascendant since he first stepped on a Buccaneers practice field this offseason, and Egbuka delivered handsomely in his first career regular-season contest. The Ohio State product first struck from 30-yards out just past the midway point of the second quarter, and he subsequently added what would turn out to be a game-winning 25-yard scoring grab with just under a minute remaining. The poise and polish that Egbuka has repeatedly been commended for was on display on his way to a team-leading yardage total, and he'll be in line to play another significant role during a Week 2 marquee interconference road matchup against the Texans on Monday night, Sept. 15.

Taylor rushed 18 times for 71 yards and secured all three targets for 27 yards in the Colts' 33-8 win over the Dolphins on Sunday.
The Colts somewhat surprisingly opened up with a pass-centric approach in Daniel Jones' debut as the new starting quarterback, but Taylor eventually mixed in effectively throughout the afternoon. The talented back's longest run went for a modest 15 yards, yet he also recorded a 16-yard reception and certainly put together a serviceable fantasy outing to open the campaign. Jones did vulture one goal-line opportunity from Taylor, but the latter will undoubtedly be called on frequently in such scenarios moving forward. Taylor does draw an unenviable matchup Week 2, however, as the stingy Broncos defense pays a visit next Sunday.

Smith returned two kickoffs for 63 yards during Kansas City's 27-21 loss to the Chargers on Friday night.
Smith impressed in the return game Week 1, but the rookie seventh-round pick wasn't called upon to handle any actual carries, and he played just eight percent of offensive snaps. Still, it's encouraging to Smith's prospects that Elijah Mitchell was a healthy scratch Friday. Smith figures to operate as the No. 3 running back behind Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt again in Week 2 against the Eagles.

Pickens brought in three of four targets for 30 yards in the Cowboys' 24-20 loss to the Eagles on Thursday night.
The big-name offseason addition didn't see Dak Prescott look his way anywhere near as much as CeeDee Lamb, but Pickens made some solid contributions in the narrow loss. The talented receiver made his first regular-season catch as a Cowboy on a six-yard grab during Dallas' opening drive, and he'd go on to draw a 34-yard pass interference penalty on Quinyon Mitchell before the quarter was over. Pickens also had a key 15-yard grab on third down with just under three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, but he was guilty of an unnecessary roughness penalty deep in Eagles territory in the third quarter on a drive that culminated in a Miles Sanders fumble. Pickens is naturally expected to settle into the Cowboys' air attack the more he plays, and a Week 2 home matchup against the Giants on Sunday, Sept. 14 could represent an opportunity for his first breakout performance.

Mills and the Texans agreed Tuesday on a one-year, $7 million contract extension, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Mills had been ticketed for free agency next spring, but for the second September in a row, the Texans have given him some extra security in the form of a one-year extension. The $7 million deal is fully guaranteed, which should ensure that Mills faces no real competition for the No. 2 role heading into 2026. He'll be entering his third straight season as C.J. Stroud's backup and won't be in line for anything more than spot duty so long as Stroud is healthy. Through his first two NFL seasons, Stroud has missed just two games, with both absences coming late in his rookie campaign while he recovered from a concussion.

The NFL officially suspended Rice for the first six games of the 2025 regular season Wednesday for violating the league's Personal Conduct Policy, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Rice's suspension will begin immediately, as he and the NFL reached an agreement Wednesday on an arrangement that will force him to miss the first six weeks of the regular season but allow him to retake the field mid-season. He will first be eligible for reinstatement and to resume practicing Oct. 13 and to make his regular-season debut in Week 7 versus the Raiders on Oct. 19. JuJu Smith-Schuster figures to join Xavier Worthy and Hollywood Brown (ankle) in the majority of three-wide sets until Rice is reinstated.

Stidham and the Broncos agreed on a two-year, $12 million contract Sunday, Dianna Russini of The Athletic reports.
Stidham will stick around Denver after spending the last two seasons with the team, most recently operating as the top backup option behind Bo Nix in 2024. The 28-year-old did not attempt a pass this past season, and he'll likely remain the No. 2 option again in 2025.
