49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said Tuesday that Warner (ankle) has undergone successful surgery to address the right dislocated and fractured ankle he suffered Week 6, Matt Barrows of The Athletic reports.
Shanahan declined to estimate a timetable for Warner's return or to say whether he could have a chance to return if the 49ers earn a playoff berth. Warner's injury is generally considered season-ending, especially if it requires a follow-up procedure, with Dr. Eric Giza, chief of orthopedic foot and ankle surgery at UC Davis, noting that "unless the 49ers go to the Super Bowl, [Warner] is probably out for the season." Tatum Bethune impressed in replacement of Warner in Week 6 and figures to draw a start versus Atlanta on Sunday, but San Francisco's defense now faces the task of replacing its two top playmakers, with Nick Bosa (knee) also out for the year.

Henley was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice due to a groin injury.
Henley has played every defensive snap this season, including in the Chargers' Week 6 win over Miami. There's no indication he's in danger of missing Sunday's matchup against the Colts, though his practice participation in the next two days should provide further insight.

Harrison (concussion) was limited at Wednesday's walkthrough, Zach Gershman of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Harrison was diagnosed with a concussion during this past Sunday's loss at Indianapolis, and while Jonathan Gannon told Dani Sureck of the team's official site on Wednesday that the second-year wide receiver remains in the protocol for head injuries, his limited listing indicates he at least has made some progress through it. In order to play Sunday against the Packers, though, Harrison will need to gain clearance from an independent neurologist. Arizona's receiving corps is particularly banged up at the moment, as Michael Wilson (foot, limited) and Zay Jones (knee, DNP) also are tending to injuries.

Bills head coach Sean McDermott said Tuesday that Palmer (ankle) is viewed as week-to-week, Alec White of the team's official site reports.
Palmer was forced out of the first half of Monday's 24-14 loss to the Falcons with an ankle injury, finishing the night with two receptions for 60 yards. Though Palmer may have been hard-pressed to make it back to the field if the Bills played on Sunday this week, he'll benefit from Buffalo being on bye for Week 7. The wideout will still need to resume practicing in some fashion during Week 8 to have a chance at playing in the Bills' next game Oct. 26 versus the Panthers.

Davis caught both of his targets for 19 yards and one touchdown in Monday's 24-14 loss to the Falcons.
Davis played a total of two offensive snaps and was targeted by Josh Allen in the passing game on both of those plays. His 16-yard touchdown on the opening drive of the second half pulled the Bills within seven points, but Buffalo was unable to score the rest of the way. Despite finding paydirt for the first time all season, Davis continues to struggle to earn meaningful run behind starting running back James Cook. Davis has played single-digit snaps in four straight games, with passing-down specialist Ty Johnson receiving more playing time than Davis in all of those contests. Though Davis could be the preferred option over Johnson to lead the Bills' rushing attack if Cook were to miss time at any point, Davis will likely continue to handle a light role so long as Cook is healthy.

Edmunds recorded 13 tackles in the Bears' 25-24 win over the Commanders on Monday.
Edmunds has at least 11 tackles over his last three contests after a moderate start to the season, and he's rounding into elite IDP territory.

Allgeier carried the ball 10 times for 32 yards and a touchdown while catching his only target for six yards in Monday's 24-14 win over the Bills.
Allgeier got involved in the box score early with a 21-yard touchdown scamper on Atlanta's opening possession. The talented backup then took a back seat to starter Bijan Robinson, who ripped apart Buffalo's defense to the tune of 238 yards and a score of his own. Allgeier has generated some flex appeal after hitting pay dirt thrice over his last four appearances. There is a four-yard dud nestled in between, so fantasy managers should also be aware of Allgeier's drastic floor ahead of Sunday's tilt against San Francisco.

London corralled 10 of 16 targets for 158 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 24-14 win over Buffalo.
It was the Bijan Robinson and Drake London Show on Monday Night Football after the two budding superstars accounted for 396 of Atlanta's 443 yards of offense. The 23-year-old London didn't cool off over his team's Week 5 bye, bookending the break with a pair of 100-plus yard games with a touchdown scored in each. He actually finished the contest as the only wide receiver to record a catch for Atlanta, highlighting his status as QB Michael Penix's unquestioned No. 1 target. A red-hot London will set his sights on a battered 49ers defense Week 7.

Allen completed 15 of 26 passes for 180 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions and rushed six times for 42 yards in the Bills' 24-14 loss to the Falcons on Monday night. He also committed two fumbles, neither of which were lost.
Allen's final line tells the tale of a difficult night against a well-rested and aggressive Falcons defense fueled by its home crowd. Despite his signature mobility, Allen was sacked four times, and he also tossed multiple interceptions for the first time this season, including a game-sealing pick at Atlanta's 7-yard line with 51 seconds remaining. The reigning NFL MVP's yardage total also was his second lowest of the season, and the fact he went into the contest without Dalton Kincaid (oblique) and Curtis Samuel (neck/ribs) before also losing Joshua Palmer to an ankle injury in the first half certainly didn't help Allen's cause. Buffalo now gets a much-needed bye following back-to-back losses before returning to action against the Panthers in Carolina on Sunday, Oct. 26.

Prater did not attempt a field goal and went 2-for-2 on extra-point tries in Monday night's 24-14 loss to the Falcons.
Prater went without a field-goal try for the first time this season, previously having notched multiple attempts in four of five games to open the year. With Tyler Bass (hip) still unable to return to practice, Prater seems likely to remain the team's starting kicker following Buffalo's bye week in Week 7.

Anzalone tallied 12 tackles (seven solo) in a Week 6 loss to Kansas City on Sunday.
Anzalone finished as Detroit's leading tackler in the contest. He not only posted a season-high figure in stops, he doubled his previous top mark. Through six weeks, Anzalone has 35 tackles (including 1.5 sacks) and four defensed passes, including an interception.

Charbonnet rushed 12 times for 24 yards and brought in his only target for 13 yards in the Seahawks' 20-12 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
As made clear by his rushing line, Charbonnet found virtually no running room against a talented Jaguars front seven, and he actually gained 10 fewer rushing yards on two more carries than backfield mate Kenneth Walker. Sunday marked Charbonnet's fourth game with a sub-4.0-yards-per-carry figure this season, so outside of his occasional rushing touchdowns, the third-year back's fantasy outlook remains stagnant heading into a tough Week 7 home matchup against the Texans on Monday night, Oct. 20.

Carlson went 2-for-2 on field-goal attempts and made both of his PATs in Sunday's 20-10 win over the Titans.
Carlson hit a 50-yard field goal in the first quarter and later added a chip-shot 29-yarder in the fourth quarter. The kicker has now gone 11-for-14 on field-goal tries, including 4-for-7 from 50-plus yards, while making all eight of his extra-point attempts over six games this season.

Kupp secured two of three targets for 40 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' 20-12 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
Kupp got into the end zone for the first time as a member of the Seahawks, recording an 11-yard touchdown grab early in the third quarter. The veteran wideout remains a distant No. 2 in the offense's pecking order behind No. 1 receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who had another prolific afternoon Sunday and has logged 56 targets to Kupp's 32. Kupp has now been under 60 receiving yards for four straight games heading into a challenging Week 7 home matchup against the Texans on Monday night, Oct. 20.

Metcalf recorded four receptions on nine targets for 95 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-9 win over the Browns.
Metcalf remained Aaron Rodgers' top target, leading the team in targets and yards. All four of his catches went for 20 yards or more, highlighted by a 25-yard score down the right sideline to kick off the fourth quarter. Even with an additional missed opportunity for a long touchdown due to an underthrow by Rodgers, Metcalf has found the end zone in each of his last four games and has topped 80 receiving yards in three of five contests to begin his tenure with the Steelers.

Ward completed 26 of 38 pass attempts for 222 yards, one touchdown and one interception Sunday. He did not record a rushing attempt and lost two fumbles in the 20-10 loss to the Raiders.
Ward had Tennessee's offense in shambles out of the gates Sunday, leading six first-half drives that resulted in four punts and two turnovers (both charged to Ward). The rookie signal-caller finally woke up in the fourth quarter, but a third and final turnover thwarted any plans for a comeback. Ward managed to end a scoreless drought lasting two weeks, but he still has more interceptions thrown (four) than touchdowns (three) through six starts. The Titans are looking like a work in progress in Ward's first season as a pro, so fantasy managers should look for safer options in Week 7.
10/12/2025 8:12:00 PM
Henderson carried the ball nine times for 27 yards and caught one of two targets for nine yards in Sunday's 25-19 win over the Saints.
The results were meager, but Henderson still out-gained Rhamondre Stevenson by 18 scrimmage yards, although he finished one rushing yard behind quarterback Drake Maye for the team lead. Henderson has yet to reach even 40 rushing yards or 60 scrimmage yards in a game this season, and the rookie will likely remain stuck in a timeshare with Stevenson heading into a Week 7 clash with the Titans.
10/12/2025 8:04:00 PM
Walker rushed 10 times for 34 yards and brought in his only target for three yards in the Seahawks' 20-12 win over the Jaguars on Sunday.
Walker logged two fewer carries than Zach Charbonnet, but he outgained his teammate by 10 rushing yards, as neither back was particularly efficient during the defense-centric battle. The fourth-year pro's yardage total represented quite the downturn after he'd topped the 80-yard mark in each of the previous two games, and Charbonnet's workload is somewhat of a concern for the moment for Walker's fantasy managers. It remains to be seen if a similar timeshare will apply moving forward, but neither player has a particularly bright outlook for a Week 7 home matchup against a tough Texans defense on Monday night, Oct. 20.

Bills coach Sean McDermott said Thursday that Bass (left hip/groin) is among players on IR who will not have their practice windows opened yet, Joe Buscaglia of The Athletic reports.
McDermott said, "We'll see -- going off the info from the medical team," when asked whether Bass will play this season, per Maddy Glab of the team's official site, though he did acknowledge that the kicker is trending in the right direction. Bass' 21-day practice window was eligible to open as early as Week 5, but at this stage a timetable for him to retake the field remains uncertain. Fill-in kicker Matt Prater has been reliable through five regular-season appearances, having converted 10 of 11 field-goal tries and all 15 of his extra-point attempts, so Buffalo has little reason to rush Bass back to action.

Hunter didn't record any stats, while playing 20 defensive snaps in Sunday's 44-10 win over the Ravens.
Hunter went without a tackle for the second time this season, ultimately playing a season-low 20 snaps on defense in the blowout victory. With Houston idle Week 6, Hunter will look to get back on track against the Seahawks on Monday Night Football in Week 7.

Al-Shaair registered four tackles (two solo) and one pass defense during the Texans' 44-10 win over the Ravens on Sunday.
Al-Shaair played a season-low 38 defensive snaps Sunday, but the Texans had just 43 snaps on defense as the offense dominated time of possession in a Week 5 blowout win. The veteran linebacker has just seven tackles over the past two games and is up to 32 tackles (19 solo), three pass defenses and one forced fumble over the first five games of the regular season.

The Jets placed Williams (shoulder) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Williams suffered a shoulder injury during the first half of Sunday's 29-27 loss to the Buccaneers, finishing the game with four tackles (three solo), including 0.5 sacks, and one pass defense. He'll be required to miss at least the next four games, which makes Week 8 against the Bengals on Sunday, Oct. 26 the earliest he can return. With Williams and Marcelino McCrary-Ball (hamstring) both on injured reserve, the Jets will turn to Mark Robinson, Cam Jones and rookie fifth-rounder Francisco Mauigoa to serve at outside linebacker with the first-team defense.

Roberts (elbow) isn't on the Las Vegas' injury report ahead of Monday's matchup versus the Chargers, Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee reports.
Roberts is healthy again after picking up an elbow injury in the fourth quarter of the team's Week 1 win over the Patriots. He will once again serve as the team's starting middle linebacker for Monday's matchup.

Allen completed nine of 15 passes for 137 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in Friday's 23-13 preseason win over the Vikings.
Allen followed Cameron Ward into the game, taking over for Tennessee's third offensive possession. He benefited from a 65-yard touchdown pass that came exclusively after the catch, but Allen executed fairly well and avoided costly mistakes. He appears to be lined up to serve as Ward's backup heading into a Week 1 matchup against the Broncos.

Trubisky completed nine of 13 passes for 138 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 34-25 preseason loss to the Giants.
With Josh Allen held out, Trubisky got the start and played the entire first half, capping his performance with an 11-yard TD toss to Dawson Knox in the second quarter. Trubisky is currently in the No. 2 QB spot for the Bills -- veteran Mike White is the No. 3 -- a role that afforded the former only 26 pass attempts over nine regular-season appearances in 2024, with most of that volume coming in a Week 18 start when nothing was on the line for Buffalo.

Levis (shoulder) was placed on IR by the Titans on Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
The move comes as no surprise, following Monday's news that Levis had elected to have season-ending surgery on his right shoulder. In his absence, this year's No. 1 overall pick, Cameron Ward, is poised to handle the bulk first-team QB reps in training camp practices as the Titans prepare him to be their starter in Week 1, per Wyatt.

Baker and the Browns have agreed to terms on a contract, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Baker is no stranger to Ohio, as he was born in Cleveland and played college football at Ohio State. The 28-year-old had a tumultuous 2024 season, as he began the year in Seattle before being traded to Tennessee in October and finished with a career-low total of 61 tackles (including 2.0 sacks) over 10 regular-season games. Baker gives the Browns some much-needed depth at linebacker with the NFL future of Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah uncertain due to a neck injury that caused him to sit out Cleveland's final nine games last year.
