Vidal finished his rookie campaign with 43 carries for 155 yards and an additional five receptions for 62 yards and a touchdown across 10 games.
The 2024 sixth-round pick was considered a possible deep sleeper entering the year given the uncertain availability of oft-injured backs J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards, but the imported Ravens duo were relatively healthy throughout the year, relegating Vidal to a healthy inactive at portions of the season. Even when the rookie had opportunities to flourish due to various injuries to the aforementioned duo, Vidal only saw six or more carries twice throughout the season and played just over 21 offensive snaps twice throughout the entire campaign. The Chargers clearly prioritize multiple rotational backs and depth given the offensive emphasis of the position, but it's unclear if Vidal will be a part of the team's larger goals despite Dobbins entering the offseason as an unrestricted free agent and Edwards due a $3 million bonus entering his age-30 season.

Coleman caught one of three targets for five yards in Sunday's 31-7 wild-card win over the Broncos.
Coleman had a disappointing wild-card performance, as his five receiving yards marked his lowest total in a contest in which he caught at least one pass. The rookie wideout played 46 of the Bills' 76 offensive snaps in the contest, the second-most snaps of any Buffalo wide receiver behind Mack Hollins (52). Next up for the Bills is a divisional-round matchup against the Ravens on Jan. 19. Coleman will look to bounce back and be more involved in what projects to be a high-scoring affair against Baltimore.

McLaughlin rushed twice for minus-two yards and secured his lone target for zero yards in Sunday's 31-7 wild-card loss to the Bills.
McLaughlin was not a big part of the game plan Sunday, playing just eight of the Broncos 42 offensive snaps in the contest behind teammate Javonte Williams (31) and ahead of Tyler Badie (3). The 24-year-old running back finished the 2024 regular season with 113 carries for 496 yards and one touchdown, a 24-76-2 receiving line on 27 targets and one lost fumble across 16 games. McLaughlin's carry total and rushing yards set career highs in both categories, as he saw his involvement in the ground game increase in his sophomore season. The Youngstown State product will enter his third season in 2025 with the opportunity to take a step forward in the offense. Williams will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, so his possible departure could open things up for McLaughlin to step into a larger role in Denver's backfield. With that said, he'll likely continue to face competition from Audric Estime, Badie and any other running back who could be added through free agency or the draft.

Jones rushed 13 times for 48 yards and secured three of six targets for 12 yards in the Vikings' 27-9 wild-card loss to the Rams on Monday night. He finished the 2024 regular season with 255 carries for 1,138 yards and five touchdowns, a 51-408-2 line on 62 targets and five fumbles (three lost) across 17 games.
Jones didn't look encumbered by the quadriceps injury he'd been dealing with since the Week 17 win against the Packers, but his opportunities were limited by game script. The veteran's modest final numbers somewhat belied the fact he was a very good fit overall in his first Vikings season, as Jones' rushing yardage total was a new personal best, and his receiving yardage tally was the second highest of his career. Jones is due to hit unrestricted free agency when the new league year begins in March after playing 2024 on a one-year, $7 million deal, but there may be mutual interest in a return to Minnesota.

Davis racked up 136 tackles (69 solo), including 2.0 sacks and seven passes defended, including one interception, across 16 regular-season appearances for the Saints in 2024.
Davis keeps piling up 100-tackles seasons well into his NFL career. The 13-year veteran recorded a career high in tackles despite playing in 16 of 17 regular-season games in 2024. This included six games with double-digit tackles. Davis was one of the few remaining bright spots on what has become a rather old and untalented Saints franchise. He's now set to enter the final season of his three-year, $27 million contract with New Orleans in 2025.

Allen completed 20 of 26 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns while adding 46 rushing yards on eight carries in Sunday's 31-7 wild-card round win over the Broncos. He also threw a two-point conversion to Keon Coleman.
The Bills' defense was the true star of the victory, completely shutting down the visitors after Denver scored a TD on its first possession, but Allen put the game away in the second half, connecting with Ty Johnson on a 24-yard score late in the third quarter and with Curtis Samuel on a 55-yard touchdown early in the fourth. After putting together an MVP-caliber regular season, Allen is still firing on all cylinders heading into a divisional-round clash with the Ravens.

Sutton caught five of nine targets for 75 yards in Sunday's 31-7 wild-card round loss to the Bills.
The veteran wideout led the Broncos in catches, targets and receiving yards, although it was Troy Franklin who was on the other end of rookie QB Bo Nix's only TD pass Sunday. Sutton put together arguably the best campaign of his career in 2024, hauling in a career-high 81 passes for 1,081 yards and a career-high eight touchdowns over 17 regular-season contests, and his per-game averages soared in the second half of the year (60-804-6 over his last 10 games) once he developed stronger chemistry with Nix. Sutton is under contract for one more year, and assuming he returns to Denver in 2025, his big finish will put him in high demand at the fantasy draft table.

Cooper (illness/knee) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Eagles, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
Cooper, a 2024 second-round pick from Texas A&M, was limited throughout the Packers' week of practice due to a knee injury and an illness. However, it now appears he's healthy enough to play in Sunday's wild-card contest. Cooper has really rounded into form down the stretch for Green Bay, recording 35 total tackles, including 1.0 sacks and an additional seven tackles for loss, and two passes defended, with one interception, since returning from injury in Week 15. Expect the reigning NFC Defensive Rookie of the Month to cause problems for the Eagles' offense Sunday.

Myers connected on 26 of 30 field-goal attempts (86.7 percent) and 37 of 40 extra-point tries through 17 games during the 2024 season.
Myers' field-goal percentage ranked 12th in the league among kickers that played at least 10 games. The 33-year-old kicker also connected on nine of 12 field-goal tries from beyond 50 yards. Myers has two years remaining on his contract and should be secure as the Seahawks' starter in 2025.

Howell completed five of 14 passes for 24 yards and an interception and rushed once for two yards across three games during the 2024 season.
Howell played just 25 snaps this season, 24 of which were in relief of an injured Geno Smith in Week 15 against the Packers. Howell's numbers are unappealing, but he should still be considered a formidable backup moving forward, as he posted 3,946 passing yards, 21 touchdowns and 21 interceptions in 2023 for the Commanders. Smith and Howell both have one year remaining on their respective contracts, so as long as Smith isn't cut as a cap casualty, Howell's two years removed from being able to compete for a starting job.

Coach Sean McDermott said Wednesday that Bernard (quadriceps) will be active for Sunday's wild-card game versus Denver, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
Bernard was not able to play in Buffalo's regular-season finale due to a quadriceps injury, but he'll be good to go for the start of the playoffs. He figures to play a near every-down role at linebacker in Sunday's postseason opener.

Edwards tallied four tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, in the Bears' 24-22 win over the Packers on Sunday.
Edwards came into this season averaging 157 tackles, but he fell to 129 across 17 regular-season games. Although the linebacker had a strong tackle total, it wasn't the elite IDP production fantasy managers had been accustomed to. Conversely, Edwards set a career high with 4.0 sacks, besting his previous high of 2.5 sacks. Edwards is heading into the last year of his deal with the Bears.

Gibbs rushed 23 times for 139 yards and three touchdowns while catching all five of his targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-9 win over the Vikings.
Gibbs scored all four of the touchdowns by either team in Detroit's convincing win, which capped the regular season by securing the top seed in the NFC for the Lions. The four touchdowns brought Gibbs' season total to a league-leading 20 (16 rushing, four receiving), which were accompanied by 1,929 scrimmage yards. He'll likely handle a heavy workload in the NFC divisional round following Detroit's bye in the wild-card round, even if the Lions get David Montgomery (knee) back for their playoff run.

Johnson rushed twice for three yards and brought in all five targets for 16 yards in the Bears' 24-22 win over the Packers on Sunday.
Johnson was once again a clear second fiddle to lead back D'Andre Swift, who logged 20 carries. The second-year pro had a relatively uneventful season despite the trade of Khalil Herbert to the Bengals, with the exception of a solid red-zone role that helped him score six rushing touchdowns. Johnson tallied just 150 rushing yards on 55 carries alongside a 16-104 receiving line over 14 regular-season games, and he's likely to head into training camp next summer in a similar, clear No. 2 role.

Ridley recorded three receptions on five targets for 76 yards in Sunday's 23-14 loss to the Texans. He added two rushes for negative three yards.
Ridley was held quiet for much of the game, though he broke free for two big gains of 24 and 39 yards just before halftime and the end of the game, respectively. That pushed him over 1,000 receiving yards on the season and also one yard over his total from the 2023 campaign. Ridley will likely be back to lead the Tennessee receiving corps in 2025, and he could see improved results with a rookie quarterback likely leading the offense.

Trubisky completed 15 of 21 passes for 101 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Patriots. He added 12 rushing yards on four carries.
Josh Allen played the first snap to keep his consecutive start streak alive before turning things over to Trubisky, who connected with Ray Davis for a two-yard TD in the second quarter. Trubisky then gave way to Mike White midway through the third quarter. It was the first extensive action of the season for either backup QB, and it will likely be their last, as Allen will take back the reins of the offense when the Bills host the Broncos in the wild-card round next weekend.

Smith (hip) completed 20 of 27 pass attempts for 223 yards and four touchdowns while rushing twice for 14 yards in Sunday's 30-25 win over the Rams.
Smith saved arguably his best performance of the campaign from the pocket for the last game of the regular season. However, the veteran signal-caller suffered a hip injury on Seattle's final possession in a game that had no implications on the playoff picture for the Seahawks, as reported by Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times. The severity of the injury is currently unclear, but Smith will have the entire offseason to recoup before running things back in 2025 for the final period of his current three-year contract with Seattle.

Swift rushed 20 times for 65 yards and a touchdown and failed to bring in either of his two targets in the Bears' 24-22 win over the Packers on Sunday.
Swift finished off his Bears debut campaign in relatively productive fashion, posting a four-yard touchdown run early in the second quarter to round out a solid fantasy day. The veteran back fell just short of his second consecutive 1,000-yard season, compiling 959 rushing yards while playing all 17 regular-season games. Swift finished the season as the indisputable leader of the ground attack, and despite the fact there could be a new offensive system in place next season, he should retain the No. 1 role heading into the 2025 campaign.

Thomas caught seven of 11 targets for 103 yards in Sunday's 26-23 overtime loss to the Colts.
The 23rd overall pick in the 2024 Draft closed out his rookie campaign in style, topping 100 yards for the third time in the last four games. Thomas benefitted down the stretch from the fact that Christian Kirk (collarbone), Gabe Davis (knee) and Evan Engram (shoulder) were all on the shelf, but he was also catching passes from Mac Jones and not Trevor Lawrence (shoulder). Thomas finished the year having compiled an 87-1,282-10 line on 133 targets, with the yardage figure leading all rookies. Even if the Jaguars' passing attack is at full strength in 2025, Thomas should be a significant part of it, if not the clear No. 1 receiver for Lawrence.

Bass made his only field-goal try and went 1-for-2 on PATs in Sunday's 23-16 loss to the Patriots.
Bass was able to make a 49-yard field goal with less than five minutes remaining in the first half, finishing the regular season having gone 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts over the team's final three contests. Bass did miss an extra-point try in the third quarter, which was his fifth miss of the season on a PAT. The kicker finished the regular season 24-for-29 on field-goal attempts while connecting on 59 of 64 extra-point tries over 17 games.

Young tallied eight tackles (five solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Saturday's 13-9 win over Arizona.
Young sacked Kyler Murray midway through the second quarter for a six-yard loss, which forced the Cardinals to punt on the next play. Young is now up to 7.0 sacks through 16 regular-season games, and the 2023 third-round pick is one sack shy from matching his total from his rookie campaign. He'll have an opportunity to do so against Geno Smith and the Seahawks in Week 17.

Speed (knee) is active for Sunday's game against the Giants.
Speed didn't play in Week 16 against the Titans due to a knee injury. He opened the week with consecutive DNPs, but he managed to log a full practice Friday, which was enough for him to be cleared to play Sunday. Speed will start at linebacker alongside Zaire Franklin and Jaylon Carlies, while Segun Olubi, Cameron McGrone and Grant Stuard provide rotational depth.

Greenard recorded six total tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also forcing a fumble in Monday's 30-12 win over the Bears.
Greenard didn't wait long to make his mark in Week 15, recording a strip-sack of Caleb Williams in the first quarter. Teammate Blake Cashman recovered the fumble, while the sack was Greenard's 11th of the year. Greenard has now compiled 49 total tackles (34 solo), including the 11.0 sacks, and also added four forced fumbles and two passes defensed over 14 games in his first season with Minnesota.

The Bills placed Buechele (neck) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Buechele suffered a significant neck injury during Buffalo's preseason opener against the Bears. Unless he can reach an injury settlement with the team, Buechele will have to spend the entire 2024 campaign on IR with the Bills.
