Addison's jury trial for a DUI citation will commence on July 15 after a June 16 hearing to set the Superior Court of California schedule, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports. Addison pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence after authorities found him asleep behind the wheel of a car on a Los Angeles freeway on July 12, 2024, according to CBS Minnesota.
Addison could face discipline from the NFL if he's found guilty, as the NFL's substance-abuse policy has a baseline punishment for a first-time DUI offense of a three-game suspension, Pro Football Talk reports. It's possible Addison's punishment from the NFL will be lengthier if he's found guilty should the league also take into account that he pleaded guilty to a 2023 misdemeanor speeding charge after being cited for driving 140 miles per hour in Minnesota. It sounds like a verdict in the DUI case could be announced at some point later this summer or early fall, which means Addison could potentially face discipline from the NFL during the 2025 season.

Jewell (head) is participating in OTAs, Jeff Hawkins of The Charlotte Post reports.
The linebacker had to miss the last two games of 2024 after suffering a concussion. He finished 2024 with 97 tackles (51 solo), including 3.5 sacks, seven pass breakups, including an interception, and two fumble recoveries in 12 games. Jewell recorded over 100 tackles in three of the four seasons before that, all with Denver.

Flowers (knee) is participating in on-field drills at OTAs on Wednesday.
Flowers missed both of Baltimore's playoff games last year due to a right knee sprain sustained during the team's regular-season finale against Cleveland, but he didn't require surgery to address the issue and now appears back to full health. He'll work to take another step forward as the leader of the Ravens' wide receiver corps entering Year 3, after having tallied a 74-1,059-4 receiving line (on 116 targets) across 17 regular-season appearances in 2024. Baltimore remains a run-heavy offense featuring QB Lamar Jackson and RB Derrick Henry, leaving a smaller share of targets to be distributed between the 2023 first-round pick, Rashod Bateman and tight ends Mark Andrews and Isaiah Likely, but Flowers' ability to create separation downfield and 4.42 speed make it possible for him to produce efficiently even without heavy volume.

Reed (shoulder) is participating in on-field positional drills at OTAs on Wednesday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Reed appears back to full health after having suffered a dislocated shoulder during Green Bay's 22-10 wild-card loss to the Eagles in January, an injury for which he didn't require surgery. The third-year pro has prioritized bulking up early in the offseason, with passing-game coordinator Jason Vrable saying in mid-May that Reed is currently 199 pounds after playing at 187 pounds in 2024. The Packers' selection of Matthew Golden in the first round of April's draft, plus Savion Williams in the third round, provides Jordan Love and the passing game the requisite tools to grow more dynamic in 2025, a development that could prove positive for Reed in Year 3 even if he faces increased target competition. Romeo Doubs (concussion) and newcomer Mecole Hardman (knee) are also practicing Wednesday.

Fairbairn agreed to terms Monday on a contract restructure with the Texans for the purpose of freeing up salary cap space, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Fairbairn's restructure converts part of his $4.73 million base salary into a $3.46 million signing bonus while adding multiple void years to the end of his deal. He still remains under contract through 2026 after having inked a a three-year extension last offseason. The 31-year-old converted 36 of 42 field-goal attempts and 34 of 36 extra-point tries across 17 regular-season appearances in 2024, though he struggled in Houston's divisional-round playoff loss to Kansas City. He remains positioned as the Texans' starting kicker.

The Jaguars won't exercise Lloyd's fifth-year option, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
The 2022 first-round pick out of Utah has been one of the Jaguars' top tacklers over the past three seasons, ranking second on the team with 355 total tackles across 48 regular-season contests. Lloyd has also been been a valuable asset in coverage, recording 19 passes defended, including three interceptions, since entering the league. Despite the team declining his fifth-year option, Lloyd is expected to remain one of Jacksonville's top inside linebackers in 2025, likely starting alongside Foyesade Oluokun.

Heinicke signed a one-year contract worth up to $6.2 million with the Chargers on Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Heinicke spent the 2024 season with the Chargers as the backup to Justin Herbert but played only 22 offensive snaps while attempting five passes. He's spent parts of a few seasons as a starter and will once again be one of the more competent backups in the league.

Johnson and the Bills agreed to a two-year, $5 million contract Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Johnson finished the 2024 regular season with 497 scrimmage yards and four touchdowns on 59 touches across 17 games, and his 289 offensive snaps were his most since the 2021 campaign with the Jets. Johnson figures to reprise his role as a kick-return specialist and backup running back behind James Cook for the 2025 campaign.

Bolton signed a three-year, $45 million contract with the Chiefs on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Bolton's deal includes $30 million in fully guaranteed salary, indicating that he'll remain a stalwart over the middle of Kansas City's defense moving forward. The 5-foot-11 linebacker, who turns 25 years old Monday, was set to hit free agency after putting up over 100 tackles in all but one of the last four seasons. This includes the 2022 campaign, when he finished second in the NFL in tackles with 180. Bolton should have a great chance to record over 100 tackles once again in 2025.

Smith brought in four of five targets for 69 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 40-22 win over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.
Smith had enjoyed his fair share of success against Steve Spagnuolo's Chiefs defenses in the previous two meetings, including the Eagles' narrow Super Bowl LVII loss to Kansas City two years prior when he'd recorded seven receptions for 100 yards. Therefore, Smith's team-leading yardage total Sunday wasn't exactly a surprise, and he got to that number with a back-breaking 46-yard touchdown grab on a perfectly thrown ball by Jalen Hurts late in the third quarter. Smith was particularly consistent down the stretch of the regular season and throughout the postseason, posting a combined 39-470-4 line on 44 targets from Week 15 on. Smith enters the second season of a $75 million extension in 2025, so he'll once again project as a key component of the offense as the Eagles look to win back-to-back titles.

Jackson completed 18 of 25 passes for 254 yards with two touchdowns and one interception and rushed six times for 39 yards in the Ravens' 27-25 divisional-round loss to the Bills on Sunday. He also lost a fumble.
Jackson's afternoon started off swimmingly with an eight-play, 73-yard march the star signal-caller capped off with a 16-yard touchdown pass to Rashod Bateman. However, Jackson badly overthrew Bateman under pressure on the next possession and then lost a fumble on a sack by Damar Hamlin to short-circuit Baltimore's third drive. The latter turnover helped lead to a Bills touchdown four plays later, but Lamar was able to battle back in the second half and threw his second touchdown pass of the evening on a dynamic play where he bought time with his legs before delivering a 24-yard strike to Isaiah Likely to bring the Ravens to within two. Jackson then threw a very catchable pass to Mark Andrews for the would-be game-tying two-point conversion, but the veteran tight end failed to hang on and essentially sealed the loss with his drop. The narrow defeat came in the wake of another MVP-caliber season for the 2018 first-round pick, who completed 316 of 474 passes for a career-high 4,172 yards and 41 touchdowns across 17 regular-season games. Jackson tossed only four interceptions as well and added 915 rushing yards and four scores on the ground, and he'll head into 2025 set to play out the third year of the five-year, $260 million extension he signed prior to the 2023 campaign.

Boswell converted 41 of 44 field-goal attempts while making all 35 of his extra-point tries over 17 regular-season appearances with the Steelers in 2024.
Boswell was a bright spot for the Steelers during the 2024 campaign, as he set career-best marks in field goals made and makes from 50-plus yards while staying healthy for a second consecutive season. The 33-year-old still has two years remaining on his contract, and the Steelers are unlikely to be motivated to seek out another option ahead of the 2025 season given his production this year.

Herbert completed 14 of 32 pass attempts for 242 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions with no rushing stats in Saturday's wild-card round loss to the Texans.
Herbert picked an inopportune time to have the worst passing game of his promising career, as Saturday's four-pick performance was the primary cause of the Chargers' season coming to an abrupt end. The 26-year-old is now 0-2 in two career playoff appearances, which comes on the heels of a solid regular season (3,870-23-3) in head coach Jim Harbaugh's first season with Los Angeles. Herbert and the Chargers' more-balanced offense will have to regroup for the 2025 campaign despite finishing the season well ahead of franchise expectations.

Byard tallied 14 tackles and 1.0 sacks in the Bears' 24-22 win over the Packers on Sunday.
In his ninth season in the NFL, Byard posted 130 tackles and 2.0 sacks. The safety has now recorded at least 108 stops in four of the last five campaigns. Byard is going into the last year of his contract with the Bears, and he should remain an excellent IDP.

Charbonnet rushed 14 times for 59 yards while collecting a lateral for 32 receiving yards in Sunday's 30-25 win over the Rams.
Charbonnet started the Seahawks' final game of the regular season with Kenneth Walker (ankle) mending on injured reserve. The 23-year-old Charbonnet had a peculiar stat line when he supplanted his modest 59 rushing yards with 32 receiving yards on a lateral from Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Charbonnet technically did not record a target or reception in Sunday's season finale, but his combined efforts brought the well-rounded backup up to 909 combined yards from scrimmage and nine touchdowns across 17 games this year. Expect Charbonnet to continue establishing himself as a candidate to be Seattle's every-down back as the aforementioned Walker enters the final year of his four-year contract.

Bigsby carried the ball 14 times for 39 yards and a touchdown and caught his only target for three yards in Sunday's 26-23 overtime loss to the Colts.
The second-year RB split the workload in the Jaguars' backfield with Travis Etienne, and while Etienne was more productive in terms of overall yardage (60 yards on 16 touches), Bigsby's one-yard TD plunge in the first quarter was the only score either of them managed. Bigsby wrapped up the 2024 campaign with 766 rushing yards on 168 carries, good for a 4.6 YPC that was far superior to Etienne's 3.7 mark, but the latter offers more as a pass catcher. The duo seems likely to remain in a timeshare to begin 2025.

Long (undisclosed) will not be joining the Titans' 53-man roster after failing his physical Thursday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Long was waived by the Lions on Tuesday after playing five games with Detroit, finishing with seven tackles (three solo). He was claimed off waivers by the Titans on Wednesday, but he was unable to pass his physical due to an undisclosed injury and will not be on Tennessee's active roster for the final two games of the 2024 regular season. Long would have the ability to sign with a team once he is fully recovered from his injury.
